Tonight is a very special milestone in the history of the Bike Stop; after almost 30 years of service, Terry will be going on a new adventure- Retirement!
Terry has worked at the bar since 1982, months after Ron Lord originally opened. It’s a melancholy night for staff and friends- Terry is an institution here at the bar and a lot of us, myself included, had our first drink poured by him. You can bet we’ll be asking him for one more cocktail before the night is through.
He’s served through three owners and countless milestones in the fight for LGBT equality and now he gets to take a break and enjoy himself.
Thank you for your service, Terry…. now go have FUN.

Thanks for being such a great buddy of my son, Phil Cochetti. Enjoy yourself in retirement. When people ask, “What are you doing these days?” you can reply, “Any ______ thing (insert whatever modifier you choose) I WANT!”. Best to you, Anne Todd
Well best of luck to Terry for his future life. May he got a blessed life with full of joys and happiness. Hats off for him and for his work.
