Wow what a night!
Congratulations to Nick Hollup and Heather Raquel – our new Mr. & Ms. Philadelphia Leather 2017! They join a family of amazing Leather men and women who’ve represented our City/Bar over the last three decades. We look forward to the great things they’re going to accomplish during their title year.

They competed against a group of truly exceptional Leatherfolk who we’re also very proud to have gotten to know and hope will join us again in 2018. We couldn’t have pulled off the evening without the tireless contributions of our brothers and sisters in the Philadelphians MC, our former Mr. & Ms. title holders and our guest contest judge- PA Representative Brian Sims. Thank you to everyone who helped shine a light on our Philadelphia Leather Community- you make doing what we do worth it!

Leather is a community that represents itself visibly and recognizably, which inherently denies the instinct that people within the broader LGBTQ community might have to ‘blend’ or ‘pass’ for their own safety. As such, it’s more important than ever to be unified in our visibility, unapologetic in it, and supportive of one another. ~Alaina Hummel, Ms Philly Leather 2016.

For most of us 2016 has been… something. It’s felt like a marathon being run with a pair of shoes that are two sizes too small; sure you’re going to get where you’re going but it’s not going to feel too good getting there. At the Bike Stop we’ve been trying to collectively exhale, count our blessings and do our best to get ready to welcome 2017 and everything it has to offer.

Tomorrow night!

On Thursday, 10th March we’re going to be opening up the Pitstop bar for our first VICE event!
Hosted by our very own Maso Mutt, Vice shakes up the notion of a traditional CODE night with an inclusive policy designed for your comfort.

“We invite you to wear the gear that makes you feel most hot.
This is includes rubber, leather, skins, pups, sports kit, military, suits, and neoprene. Hell. Gear for you may just be bare chest, your levis (you know the ones you’ve ridden so hard they have rips and a hole in ass), and your favorite pair of boots.

We are body positive and support all.

Vice is about feeling good in the skin that makes you feel best and being around those who share in it. Who knows? You may find something new to get in to.”

Things will get started at 9pm and as always- NO COVER!

The Bike Stop is 21+ to enter with valid ID.
