Is October the best month of the year or what? We have a GEAR PARTY with the Philadelphians. We have OUTFEST. We have our soon to be announced Halloween party. October couldn’t get any more fun, could it? Oh heck yeah it can! We’ve got the Bearracuda gang coming back to the Bike Stop for another night of rump shaking, socializing and good times! Things get started at 9pm. Be there and be Bear!

Started in San Francisco in August 2006, Bearracuda is the largest attended bear dance party and most prolific gay dance event in the U.S…in 57 cities across the world!

Is it on?
You bet your ass it is. Thursday August 10th.

This month Vice will still be coming to you live on 2nd Thursday but we have a few surprises in store.

As professional perverts there is no way we can continue without bringing some more Kink & Fetish to the function. So get ready.

This month we celebrate several of our favorite pervs and also the last shift of our very on Trash Cub, Mike, as he prepares to move to Oklahomo. So COME THROUGH!!!

As per usual lets get into this break down……

What is Gear?
Traditional code structured parties have a more strict definition of gear

At Vice “gear” exists within the same spectrum but is defined by what makes you feel sexy.

We are body positive
We are gear enthusiasts
We want to see you out in your gear

Leather, rubber, neoprene, Lycra, Sports kit, Military, Suits, pup gear, Levi’s, boots, jocks…..need we go on?

The Bike Stop family is… well.. a family.
One of the things we’ve heard pretty frequently over the years is that it’s impossible to get hired here because no one ever leaves. We’re proud of creating a space where our staff become members of our family and stick with us, grow with us and when needed move into new positions. You’ve probably seen this gentleman around the bar for the last few years in several different capacities; Maso started as a customer and was asked to join us at the clubhouse a little over three years ago.

As of last week when our dear Gaines moved down south (it’s like one of our sons went off to college; we’re checking in to make sure he’s eating and getting enough sleep) Maso has accepted the position of Main Bar bartender. He’s stepping behind a bar that’s been home to legendary Bike Stop staffers and we couldn’t be more proud of the work he’s done in his time with us.

So come wish him luck- You can find Maso on the main bar on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights as well as hosting his epic VICE!PHILADELPHIA party every second Thursday down in the ‘Pit.

We’ve added a few new products to our beer lineup here at the ‘Stop- including delicious lager from the fine folks at Brooklyn Brewery. It comes in at a comfortable 5.2% ABV. In the late 1800’s Brooklyn was one of the largest brewing centers in the country, home to more than 45 breweries. Lager beer in the “Vienna” style was one of the local favorites. Brooklyn Lager is amber-gold in color and displays a firm malt center supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma. Caramel malts show in the finish. The aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by “dry-hopping”, the centuries-old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as it undergoes a long, cold maturation. The result is a wonderfully flavorful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food. Dry-hopping is largely a British technique, which we’ve used in a Viennese-style beer to create an American original.

Come in and have a cold one!
