Bike Stop friend (and new logo designer) Mr. Rob Harmon is going to be showing here in Philadelphia at the Aphrodite Gallery July/August 2010, with a “meat and greet” on July 23rd from 7pm-9pm.

Join the DC Cowboys, the staff of The Bike Stop, and Philadelphia FIGHT to raise money for local AIDS charities. Enjoy a small performance by the DC Cowboys, rub elbows with the performers afterwards, and buy a drink from either Angela (of Philadelphia FIGHT) or Brad (from The Bike Stop) who will be behind the bar. It’s going to be EPIC. You can purchase tickets in advance for BOTH the performance at the William Way center AND the after parter either from Philadelphia FIGHT or at The Bike Stop for $10. Or, you can attend just the afterparty for a $5 donation at the door at the time of the event!

The ‘Stop will be opening a little early on Sunday, so swing in to see Paul, Frank and Brad who will be there starting at 1pm.
Mike G. will be opening the Short Stop at 5pm to host a special get-together for our BIKE STOP Softball team.

Cheap Beer and Hot guys?
Much better than hot beer and cheap guys (depending on who you ask). Our friends the Philadelphians MC will be hosting a pre-Pride Parade event at the ‘Stop, Saturday June 12th from 9pm-12am. There will be beer specials in effect during their event, so come on by and support our Club Brothers. It’s a perfect way to get geared up for Sunday’s Pride Parade/events.

Robert & Shawn just returned from Chicago where they attended the 32nd International Mr. Leather event. The boys swung by the Leather Archives & Museum during contest downtime and snapped this picture featuring the Bike Stop’s own Mr. Philadelphia Leather/IML 1986 Scott Tucker.

The photo shows a hint of the painting that legendary artist Etienne did of Scott; we’re looking for a color version and will post it if we manage to find one.

Robert and Shawn were awed and touched by the Leather Archives & Museum and spent most of the afternoon there snapping pictures, reading placards and being proud to be part of the Leather tradition that is so carefully documented at the LA&M. I’ll pester them to send me more pictures and a report from this year’s IML.

The Liberty Bears will be hosting their June Bride White Party on Saturday June 5th at the ‘Stop!
8pm-11pm on the main floor. Drink specials and furry men; what more could you ask for?

Our Brothers the Philadelphians are hosting their infamous KINKY KARNIVAL Saturday April 17th right here at the ‘Stop!
With proceeds going to the William Way center there’s no excuse not to polish up those boots and get your butt out to support our local clubs and charities. And if that’s not enough, how about the exciting kinky midway games?

We’re asking for a $5 donation at the door (Top Floor only- the rest of the bar there will be no cover) with additional tickets for $1 each. “Rides” will include waxings by Mike da Bear, floggings by Jose and Victor, buzzcutts by Joe, and electroplay by the one and only ScottDaddy.
