Our friends the Philadelphians are going to be hosting a GEAR ENFORCED night on the Top floor on Saturday, February 11th.

Here are the details:

Military, sport, motocross, uniform, rubber, and leather, gear up! A dress code enforced party because we (heart) gear and the guys who wear it. Come get a (heart) on with us for Valentine’s Day.

The Philadelphians MC, Philly’s 37 year old gay men’s leather club, is proud to be sponsoring the restoration of the second floor bathroom at the William Way Community Center. We’re a big fan of Dropping Balls here at the BIKE STOP, so as you can imagine, New Years Eve is one of our favorite nights of the year.

In honor of dangling spheres everywhere, the ‘Stop will be opening all FOUR FLOORS for NYE!
We’ll be opening the main bar at 4pm with REN and his Molotov Cocktail Lounge.
AJ will have the Sports Bar covered from 7pm on.
The dynamic duo of Rick and Terry will be in the main bar after Ren bids adieu, with Rick & Harley covering the Pit Stop, Philly’s darkest cruise bar from 10pm on.
Topping it (here’s usually where I’d make a bottom joke) at the Dance Floor will be Mike, with a DJ spinning music to shake your booty to.

All this comes at NO COVER with a champagne toast at Midnight!

The Staff and friends and family of the BIKE STOP will be onhand decorating the bar with a more festive holiday outfit, and we want you to join us!

We’re doing a potluck (Please feel free to bring something to add to the communal table) and if it’s anything like last year a hell of a lot of fun. Plus the flier has the Cat in the Hat wearing a jockstrap. You can’t ask for anything more!

The folks at Mazonni Center will be doing their annual bakesale on Friday December 9th at the Bike Stop. Last year they impressed us with some amazing goodies (I personally gained a pound or two with the excessive amount of cookies and chocolates purchased) that go to support children infected/affected by HIV/Aids.

Stop by, have a beer, have some baked goods and bring a little cheer into the lives of kids who could really use it. 100% of the funds raised at the bake sale goes to the Mazonni center.

We have a hell of a weekend lined up, starting at 5pm on the main bar with bartender Mike Casey and DJs Robert Drake and John Stanley for their weekly BOTTOMS UP! Cocktail party! Amazing drink specials and even better music. This is THE Friday cocktail to be at. Robert and John will be spinning the best 80s alt and new wave that you haven’t heard in far too long, and Mike will be there to make sure that your glasses are never empty.

Then we have a special KINKY KARNIVAL: PLPW (Philly Leather Pride Weekend) edition!
The Philadelphias are going to be doing it up right with Wax, Flogging and elecroplay stations. $5 donation gets you onto the TOP floor and five ‘ride tickets’ for the booths; with proceeds going to Philadelphia’s own Mazzoni center.

Tomorrow we’re pleased to host Shining with Pride; a bootblack workshop with 2011 International Mr. Bootblack Jim Deuder and 2011 International Ms. Bootblack KD. At last check there was one more spot available, contact boy.zech86@gmail.com for information. By the time we open for business there will be some amazingly shiny boots walking at Philly Leather Pride’s main event at Woody’s; 7pm-midnight.

But the party doesn’t stop there!
The Keystone Boys of Leather will be hosting the official PLPW afterparty right here at the ‘Stop. Midnight until 2am. (and remember to pace yourselves, because it’s daylight savings time!)

Hell of a weekend at the old Bike Stop!

It’s November, so it’s time for the Philadelphian’s annual KINKY KARNIVAL at the Bike Stop!
Step right up and have a good time with the men of Philadelphia’s longest running Fraternal Leather club. “Ride Tickets” will be available for flogging, wax and electroplay with proceeds going to the Mazzoni Center.

Friday, October 28th at 8pm at the BIKE STOP, during our 80′s New Wave BOTTOMS UP! Cocktail party, you’ll have a chance to win this amazing beach cruiser bicycle. All you have to do is drop your name into the bucket and be there when the drawing is done.

This Friday’s BOTTOMS UP! is going to have a darker 80′s theme; in celebration of the start of Halloween Weekend; we’ll explore the Dark Side of Retro Rock & New Wave as we present ‘A Black Celebration’!

From Alice Cooper to Bauhaus; Black Sabbath to Siouxsie & The Banshees; Misfits to Sisters Of Mercy … it’s a dark musical mix from 5-9 by DJs ROBERT DRAKE and JOHN STANLEY and cheap-ass drinks poured with a smile and a wink from MICHAEL CASEY and JAKE COOK!

Fall is here and the Bike Stop is introducing some seasonal flavors to our beer and liquor selection. First to arrive is Absolut’s ORIENT APPLE, which combines the crisp flavor of apples with the spiciness of ginger. It’s perfect as a cocktail with gingerale and a little splash of cranberry, but I’m sure our bartenders will be able to think of great new cocktails!

Seasonal draft and bottled beer will be arriving any day now!

The Keystone boys of Leather will be hosting their annual ‘Super Hero Night’ from 10pm-2am. Dress as your favorite Super Hero or Villain, or make up your own!  All costumes are welcome, it’s Halloween!
There will be beer specials to boot; what more could you ask for?
