We’ve been going at this for six months now and have two events (including this one) left before the season ends.
This month, on the heels of their grand re-opening/unveiling, we’re hitting Woody’s where we’ll be graced with the presence of an extra-special bartender!
As usual we’ll be at the Bike Stop from 8-10 and then at Woody’s from 10-12. If you haven’t made it out to a Drinking Team event yet, this is your next to last chance. What’s your excuse?
Congrats to our Philadelphia Phillies for a franchise record 102 wins in the 2011 season!
The Short Stop will be opening early on Saturday October 1st to watch our boys start their post season domination on their way to a World Series victory!
AJ will be opening the Short Stop at 4pm to get ready for the 5pm start time, so come on out for some cold drinks and cheer the Phils on!
Hibernation is OVER!
The Liberty Bears are back and ready to have a good time!
They’ll be joining us for cocktails Saturday October 1st from 5pm-7pm. Bears, cubs and admirers welcome!
We’ll be celebrating ‘National Coming Out Day’ at the Bike Stop with our good friends the Philadelphians!
Our favorite Men in Leather will be onhand to get the weekend started on Saturday October 8th with drink specials and loads of fun.
The party will continue on Sunday with OUTFEST right here in Philadelphia’s gayborhood. Outfest is our favorite event of the year and the only one in our neighborhood. Come out and COME OUT!
It’s with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our good friend and former staff member Bill Rodenbaugh. This week his lost his brief battle with cancer and our world lost one of it’s most genuine and caring friends.
Bill ties into my earliest memories of the Bike Stop. His smile and larger than life personality made an instant impression on me and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to get to know him better despite not having the pleasure of working alongside him.
On behalf of the entire staff of the Bike Stop, our deepest condolences go out to those who’s lives were touched by Bill. Rest in Peace my friend.

The Liberty Bears of Philadelphia will be hosting a Happy Hour get together Friday September 9th!
Join the Bears from 5-7!
Philadelphia loves a good bottom.
And we also love New Wave. DJs Robert Drake (of Sex Dwarf) and John Stanley will be joining Luke on Fridays for a return to the 80s with BOTTOMS UP!, their new Friday spectacular happening on the main floor of the Bike Stop, 5pm-9pm.
Luke has some killer new cocktails to delight you with while you listen to selections from the last great musical decade.
Starting this Friday, August 12th.

Longtime patrons of the ‘Stop will no doubt remember Ren, our sexy Brit expatriot bartender. He’s back home at the Bike Stop for weekend cocktails, and he’s already serving up more fun than we know what to do with!

Hey Sports fans…
Tomorrow the BIKE STOP will be hosting the Bike Stop softball team for the League’s BAR OF THE WEEK!
The Short Stop will be opening early at 4pm and will be filled with hot ball players and other athletic supporters (you know I couldn’t resist!) for what promises to be a great Sunday get together.
Bring your appetite, as the event will be catered with hoagies and Moriarity’s famous buffalo wings starting shortly after we open the Short Stop until supplies run out.
So get out your checklist:
Hot softball players?
Cold Beer?
Delicious complimentary food?
Check, check and check!
Oh, and for our Bears and Admirers… we also will be hosting a special Bike Stop edition of WOOF in the Pit Stop, 8pm+
